Built in the mid-1950s, this 40’ ex-Seaboard Coast Line boxcar with Bettendorf trucks was patched for the Seaboard System “Family Lines” Railroad. Seaboard Air Line merged with Atlantic Coast Line Railroad in 1967, forming the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad, which was then renamed Seaboard System in 1982. At its height, it had over 4,000 miles of track across the South.
