SALE STARTS 1st JANUARY


You may have heard that Atlas have purchased Microtrains.

All production will cease at the end of this year and any previously announced items will not be produced.

I was rather hoping that they would keep things ticking over but apparently not.

I’ve not been able to get a straight answer out of anyone but I think that Atlas will move everything to their New Jersey office. 

In the meantime, Microtrains production is up in the air.



TARIFFS

Things seem to be settling down with US imposing a 30% tariff on China and a 15% tariff on Japan.

However, this tariff is based on the production cost, not the retail price so at worst, I would expect prices to rise somewhere between 5% & 15%.
